Syringa vulgaris „Wedgewood Blue”

Shrub is only 2-2.5 m high and wide. Inflorescences are large, rising above the foliage, the side branches are easily hired to resemble chicken flowers. Flower buds are pink; flowers are in an unusual, relatively bright, bluish tone, which also gave this variety its name. During flowering, the bluish hue changes to a hint of lavender. Flowers are large - 2.5 cm, simple, often with many petals. It blooms abundantly with a very pleasant aroma.
