The variety is named after the excellent Russian lilac breeder Leonid Alexeyevich Kolesnikov (1893-1968). One of the most beautiful and durable varieties in Russia. Its variable flowering should be observed up close. The flower buds are round, the flowers are filled with an interesting structure. Each flower consists of 3 multicolored wreaths. The top is the brightest - whitish purple, forming a small dome in the center. Medium - slightly darker, lilac-lavender. And finally, the lower part, which consists of semicircular wide petals, is covered with a soft light purple color. The petals are very voluminous, steep and fragrant, reaching a length of 20 cm. Shrubs of medium size, dense, slender with a compact crown. Almost never gets sick. The best development and abundant flowering is achieved in moderately moist, fertile, deeply clayey soil, in an open, sunny or slightly shady place.
