Syringa reticulata subsp.amurensis
Syringa amurensis, Amur lilac.
Large shrub (4-6m) with yellowish-white flowers. It blooms later than other lilacs - in early July. It can also grow as a tree and reach a height of 6 m. It does not drive shoots. Stem skin is reddish-brown, similar to cherries. The flowers have a honey sweet scent. It is very useful for bees, because thanks to the short flower they can reach the coveted nectar and because it blooms late.
According to what was observed in the "Vidzemes ceriņi" nursery, it really started to bloom only in the 9th and 10th year.
