Syringa reticulata subsp. reticulata "Japanese tree lilac"
The closest relative is Syringa reticulata subsp.amurensis, or Amur lilac, which has been available and loved for a long time.
Japanese tree lilac is very similar. Country of origin is Japan. A shrub or tree has more than one branch and does not form as large and branched shrub as Amur lilac. It grows slowly. Height is even larger than Amur lilac. It can reach a height of 5-7 meters. Flowers are light yellowish white, creamy, delicate. It blooms several days after the Amur lilac, in early July, in the middle. It is a completely frost resistant, very valuable variety. It is recommended to plant more. It tolerates urban conditions well and is not as big as ordinary trees.
